Confidentiality and Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Summit ! To ensure a positive and productive environment for all members, we have established the following confidentiality and community guidelines. By participating in our community, you agree to adhere to these guidelines.

1. Confidentiality

1.1 Respect for Privacy:

- All information shared within the community, whether in meetings, WhatsApp messages, or other communications, must be treated as confidential.

- Do not disclose any personal, business, or proprietary information shared by other members without their explicit consent.

1.2 Proprietary Information:

- Any materials, strategies, or business insights shared within the community are considered proprietary. Do not share these outside the community without permission.

- Confidential Information includes but is not limited to, business plans, financial information, marketing strategies, and personal anecdotes shared during community interactions.

1.3 Non-Disclosure Agreement:

- By participating, you agree to keep all shared information within the community confidential. This mutual non-disclosure agreement helps maintain trust and openness among members.

2. Community Guidelines

2.1 Respect and Professionalism:

- Treat all members with respect and professionalism. Discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

- Engage in discussions constructively, focusing on mutual support and collaboration.

2.2 Active Participation:

- Attend and participate in bi-weekly meetings, contributing to discussions and activities.

- Respond promptly to messages and requests within the WhatsApp group, maintaining active engagement with the community.

2.3 Constructive Feedback:

- Offer constructive feedback and support to fellow members. Aim to uplift and help each other grow.

- When providing feedback, be specific, actionable, and positive.

2.4 Use of WhatsApp/Messaging Applications:

- The WhatsApp group is a vital communication tool for our community. Use it for relevant discussions, sharing insights, and asking for advice.

- Avoid spamming the group with unrelated messages, promotions, or excessive personal content.

- Be mindful of the time when sending messages. Avoid messaging during late hours unless urgent.

2.5 Collaboration and Networking:

- Foster a collaborative spirit by offering your expertise, resources, and support to other members.

- Respect the time and contributions of others by being punctual and prepared for meetings and discussions.

2.6 Confidentiality on WhatsApp:

- Information shared in the WhatsApp group is confidential. Do not share screenshots, messages, or any other content from the group outside the community.

- If a member requests a private conversation, respect their privacy and handle the discussion confidentially.

3. Compliance and Accountability

3.1 Reporting Violations:

- If you observe any violations of these guidelines, report them to the community administrator or Ben Hodson immediately.

- All reports will be handled confidentially and with the utmost respect for privacy.

3.2 Consequences of Violations:

- Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of membership in the Summit Business Community.

- Decisions regarding violations and consequences are at the sole discretion of Summit Coaching and will be communicated clearly to the involved parties.

 4. Amendments

4.1 Updates to Guidelines:

- Summit Coaching reserves the right to amend these guidelines as needed to ensure a positive and productive community environment.

- Members will be notified of any changes to the guidelines promptly.
